Sorry lady, the government doesn't owe you anymore than what you are going to get. Your husband made his choice and you have to live with it. Accept that, quit begging for a handout and spend your time working to educate other families that are living with the same risk.

Enough with the pity. These guys knew the rules. Good chance their families knew as well. Life is not fair - it just is. Maybe the publicity will end up raising a lot of private donations to cover. If so, the family should be grateful for anything they get.

If the government electronically tracks who calls who without monitoring the conversation, is that any different than visually tracking suspected mobsters to see who they meet and associate with? The latter is perfectly legal and a common RICO Act investigation tool.
